The Visual Poetry Times
The Visual Poetry Times is the world’s first newspaper devoted exclusively to visual poetry. Breaking new ground as a pioneering publication, it offers a unique space where poetry meets design, text meets image, and tradition meets innovation. Published bi-annually by The Poetry Kiosk every April and October, each eight-page issue is packed with visual poems, critical reviews, articles, and poetry-related stories. Readers will also discover playful quizzes, news, classifieds, and more—making The Visual Poetry Times both a landmark in publishing and a lively hub for the global visual poetry community. Subscriptions
Subscribe to our bi-annual newspaper and save 10%! As a subscriber to our newspaper, you will be charged twice a year, every April and October. The subscription costs £3.60 plus P&P depending on your location (UK postage is £2.50, Europe is £5.50 and the rest of the world is £7.50).
At the moment, you are able to view your subscription and orders in our Members' Area which can be accessed at the top right of our webpage by clicking on the icon next to the logo. You can update your payment method by clicking 'Update payment method' on the dropdown menu in the Members' Area. Customers cannot currently: update shipping details, select a start/renewal date, skip a cycle or pause and later renew a subscription manually, however we are working to update and improve our subscription service and to soon offer more functions available to customers soon.
If you need to update your shipping details or cancel your subscription, please send an email with your request to info@thepoetrykiosk.com and we will change your details on our system manually for you within 1-3 working days.
Submission Guidelines
We are looking for unpublished visual poetry-related material: visual poems, reviews, stories, games and interviews. Our submission windows are November-January and May-July respectively. Poems should be provided as high res images (300 dpi minimum).
Contributors will receive two complimentary copies of the publication. Due to the high volume of submissions and the two-women power drive, not every submission can receive a response. If you don’t hear back from us within three months, then please consider your submission unsuccessful. Submissions and proposals to be sent to

Classifieds
You can advertise an upcoming event, poetry competition, or new and/or forthcoming visual poetry books in these pages. Prices start at £25 per ad. Please contact the editor at info@thepoetrykiosk.com for details. Our printing windows are February and August each year. Terms apply & subject to spaces.
